Event registration is now open at

“Every year we are excited to both announce the results of our annual Central Coast Insights Survey as well as track the trends and compelling issues of the region,” said David Freed, Chairman, The Silverado Group, who will present the results in March, “Early indicators of the survey show that Central Coast Insights Event attendees will learn about many intriguing issues and challenges that the vintners, wineries and grape growers of the Central Coast are facing today.”

“We have created a program that is impactful, educational and informative. Attendees will meet other wine business leaders, and immediately take away ideas and information useful for successfully conducting business in the wine sector on the Central Coast,” added Kathy Archer, Wine Industry Symposium Group President.

The Central Coast Insights Event begins with a Wine Industry Kick-Off Dinner on Wednesday, March 12 at Edna Valley Vineyards. This year the dinner event will feature an informative, yet entertaining, talk by Andrew Jones, the Central Coast State Field Representative for Sunridge Nurseries who will parallel the strategies, wins and losses in the field growing grapes, and on the field playing football, with the topic, “Winning in the field; how to score with Central Coast Farming.”  Dinner registration is also open at

About the Wine Industry Symposium Group

The founders of the Wine Industry Symposium Group met in early 1992 to form a new industry conference, that would create an open exchange of thoughts and ideas concerning financial aspects of the California wine industry. The Wine Industry Financial Symposium was born. A couple of years later, in 1994, the group started a similar program, the Central Coast Insights Program. A year later, the Vineyard Economics Seminar was created for grape growers. Because of consistent globalization and consolidation in the wine business, the Wine Industry Symposium Group continues to operate with the mission of providing a critical platform for important communication and dialogue between the multiple facets of the wine business and the lending community.
